Borosilicate glass is a very robust material that is dishwasher safe and 100% recyclable. Our lids are made from untreated acacia wood, so each lid is a unique piece with a unique structure. A silicone ring for airtight sealing is of course included.

Wipe the acacia wood lids only with a damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent the wood from warping. Of course, you can oil the lids before first use, like any other wood, to protect the lid from grease marks. However, that is a matter of taste.
