About Hello Sue

For more than 20 years, Sue has been developing pure natural skincare based on oils with knowledge from traditional Chinese medicine and natural oil therapy – completely water-free and always with a holistic view of the skin. That is why each product has not only an individual effect on the skin but also on the senses. From sweet, to woody, to fresh – you have to smell the products and you will know exactly what we mean.

Sue's facial oils

Sue has created 3 different facial oils and a cleansing oil that, like all products from Hello Sue, not only have an individual effect on the skin but also on the senses. If your skin tends to blemishes or dryness, you should definitely try the Deep Repair Face Oil. For balanced and combination skin, we recommend the Balancing Face Oil, and for mature, uncomplicated skin, the Energizing Face Oil. The Cleansing Face Oil is excellent for cleansing, and the scent of orange oil will blow you away. We promise you that!

Sue's body oils

Sue has created 3 different oils for the body. The Balancing Body Oil has a very calming & harmonizing effect on the skin & senses, thanks to the included ylang-ylang & sandalwood oils. The Detoxifying Body Oil contains cedarwood & cistus oils, which promote circulation & regeneration. The Mum & Baby Oil is an absolute must-have for expectant & new moms and, of course, for the little darlings. It smells wonderfully of lavender. The black currant seed oil promotes cell renewal and is also great for stretch marks.

Sue's Eye & Décolleté Oil

For the particularly fine & sensitive skin under the eyes & on the décolleté, Sue has created two oils based on apricot kernel, moringa seed & pomegranate seed oil. The combination supports slowing down the signs of skin aging and reducing skin irritations thanks to the many antioxidants & omega-5 fatty acids. The eye oil also contains ginger oil, which promotes circulation and makes your eyes look more awake. The décolleté oil smells warm & woody thanks to the combination of myrrh, frankincense & neroli oil and soothes the senses.

Sue's Masks & Balms

Sue has also created a face mask, a hand mask & a foot balm. The Face Mask is an absolute game changer for blemishes, but also for relaxed me-time. It deeply cleanses pores thanks to the 3 different clays & soothes your skin and senses due to the included lavender oil. The Hand Mask is based on berry wax and contains basil oil – antiseptic & nourishing at the same time. The Vitalizing Feet Balm refreshes your whole body through your feet, thanks to the included mint oil & provides stressed, brittle feet with the necessary moisture.

Sue's gift and travel sets

For the most beautiful time of the year & the most beautiful time of life, Hello Sue has put together two really great Mini Collections. In the Face & Body Collection, you will find, in addition to the cleansing oil, a facial oil & a body oil in the 30ml size – perfect for gifting or traveling. The different skin types

The different skin types

Even though every skin is unique, general skin science distinguishes between four skin types, which have different characteristics and structures and therefore require different types of care. So, to get to know and understand your skin better, it is always good to first recognize which your general skin type is, in order to give it what your skin really needs in terms of care and protection.

Balanced skin

Balanced skin

If you have balanced skin, then you have healthy skin with a strong acid mantle that protects you well from external radicals and makes you less prone to skin diseases, blemishes, and dryness. You have a naturally fresh complexion, get few pimples, and your pores are fine and even. Your skin reacts insensitive to skincare products or other external influences, and you can truly feel how your skin radiates health from the inside out. Your skin, your microbiome, your pH value – everything lives in balance and gives you balanced, healthy skin!

The Cleansing Face Oil, Balancing Face Oil, and Balancing Body Oil are suitable for this skin type.

Dry skin

Dry skin

Dry skin is often cracked, itchy, and prone to flaking. Areas with few sebaceous glands such as lips, elbows, knees, forearms, hands, and feet are particularly affected. Causes include disturbed skin barriers and reduced sebum production. Lipids from sebaceous glands bind corneocytes and protect against dryness and external influences. A disturbed acid mantle leads to moisture loss and increased susceptibility to external factors. Dry skin is often genetic but can be treated with appropriate care.

For dry skin, the Cleansing Face Oil, our Deep Repair Face Oil, and the Detoxifying Body Oil are perfect.

Oily skin

Oily skin

If the skin is too oily, it is because your sebum production is not balanced. Your skin becomes oily faster, you have a shiny complexion, your pores are clearly visible, and you are more prone to skin impurities. Especially along the T-zone as well as on the décolleté and back, pimples and blackheads can form more frequently due to the excess sebum. The oily skin type is especially evident during times like puberty, when our hormones change. However, oily skin also has its benefits: due to the oily protective film, it is very resilient and thus better protected against external radicals. Additionally, dryness wrinkles do not form as quickly on the face.

Soothing here are the Cleansing Face Oil, the Balancing Face Oil, and our Calming Face Mask.

Combination skin

Combination skin

Combination skin consists of dry and oily areas. This leads to a shiny T-zone, while the cheeks are drier. Oily areas are caused by an overproduction of sebaceous glands, often genetically determined or due to irritating cosmetics. Combination skin requires balanced, natural care to strengthen the skin barrier, retain moisture, and regulate sebum production. This can reduce inflammation, pimples, and blackheads.

For combination skin, we recommend the Cleansing Face Oil, the Balancing Face Oil, and our Calming Face Mask.
