Jewelry made of 925 sterling silver can show oxidation marks over time. But don't worry, these are not a quality defect but a completely natural process. They occur because the silver reacts with the chemicals in the air. The more often you wear your new favorite jewelry, the more you avoid these marks, as minor discolorations are simply worn off through friction. You can also delay the oxidation process by storing your jewelry as airtight as possible. It's best not to leave your silver jewelry in an open jewelry dish but to keep it in a closed jewelry box.

If your jewelry has tarnished a bit and has small dark discolorations, don't worry, you can easily remove these marks with a cotton cloth and, if necessary, a gentle cleaning liquid.
