Jewellery made from 925 sterling silver may show signs of oxidation over time. But don't worry, these are not a quality defect but a completely natural process. They are created when the silver reacts with the chemicals in the air. The more often you wear your new favorite jewelry, the more likely you are to avoid these marks, as minor discolorations are easily removed by the friction of wear. You can also delay the oxidation process by storing your jewelry as airtight as possible. It's best not to leave your silver jewelry in an open jewelry bowl, but rather keep it in a closed jewelry box. 

If your jewelry is a little tarnished and has small dark discolorations, don't worry, you can easily remove these traces with a cotton cloth and, if necessary, with a gentle cleaning liquid.
