We have been working on designing a range of jewelry that reflects Eulenschnitt for a long time. The jewelry should be fine, delicate, durable and at the same time robust against environmental influences. That's why we chose gold vermeil for our gold jewelry and 925 sterling silver for our silver jewelry.
To be considered gold vermeil jewelry, the jewelry must have a thick layer of at least 10 karat gold applied to real silver. Gold vermeil is therefore more durable and of higher quality than gold-plated jewelry. Your new piece of jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver with a 16k gold coating and should accompany you for a long time and always put a smile on your face.

Jewelry made from 925 sterling silver may show signs of oxidation over time. But don't worry, these are not a quality defect but a completely natural process. They are created when the silver reacts with the chemicals in the air. The more often you wear your new favorite jewelry, the more likely you are to avoid these marks, as minor discolorations are easily removed by the friction of wear. You can also delay the oxidation process by storing your jewelry as airtight as possible. It's best not to leave your silver jewelry in an open jewelry bowl, but rather keep it in a closed jewelry box.
If your jewelry is a little tarnished and has small dark discolorations, don't worry, you can easily remove these traces with a cotton cloth and, if necessary, with a gentle cleaning liquid.
