Acetate
Acetate is a particularly durable and break-resistant and thus a very resilient material. We use it for our hair clips and combs – for long-lasting joy in the hair.
Cotton
Our socks and hoodies are mostly made of soft cotton, which makes them feel-good products for the whole day.
Enamel
Our enamel is robust and easy to care for. We prefer to use our enamel dishes for the next children's birthday party or the next Abenteuer. Practical: It can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher!
Glass
Many of our products are made of glass and then printed or laser-etched. The special thing about it: You can put all our glass products in the dishwasher.
Most of our glass products, such as storage jars, our tall drinking glasses, the drinking bottle, or our tart pans, are made of high-quality and durable borosilicate glass. It is a very robust material that is dishwasher safe and 100% recyclable.
Wood
We differentiate between beech and oak wood in our products, both native to Europe. Beech wood is very robust and has a calm, even grain without noticeable knots. You will find it, for example, in our breakfast boards and card holders.
Oak wood is one of the highest quality and most durable woods in Europe and is known for its strength, durability, and noble appearance. It often features a more pronounced grain with slight cracks and knots, which looks really great! We use oak wood, for example, for our cutting boards and trays.
Wood is a natural material that requires special care. To ensure you enjoy our products for a long time, they should not be put in the dishwasher and should only be cleaned with a damp cloth. Please also rub our boards with sunflower oil before first use. It is best to repeat this treatment at regular intervals to enjoy the products for a particularly long time.
Jute
Jute is a sustainable material, which consists of individual fibers from the bark. We love the natural look and the durability of jute and use it in our baskets and jute bags.
Coconut
Coconut fibers are great natural products that are obtained from the outer shell of the coconut. They are very robust and dirt-repellent, which makes them ideal for our coconut mats for the entrance area.
Linen
Linen is a natural fiber and more durable than cotton. We use it, for example, for our dish towels, table runners, and napkins. This natural fiber is characterized when drying or polishing by not leaving lint or fine scratches on the materials.
It is normal for linen dish towels to not be very absorbent at first, but this improves over time. We recommend washing our linen towels at 40 degrees in the washing machine. Linen loves to soak in water, so the washing machine should not be too full. Linen also dries very quickly in the air.
Metal
Products made of metal are extremely versatile and durable. We use it, for example, for our keychains, the small houses, or our baskets.
Paper
Our stationery category includes our postcards and folding cards, calendars, pads, and measuring sticks. The special thing: They are all made in Germany!
Polyamide
The surface of our washable floor mats consists of high-twist polyamide fibers, whose twisted structure is pleasantly soft. They are particularly robust and durable. Our polyamide floor mats are designed for indoor and outdoor use! They can be easily cleaned in the washing machine at 30 degrees, so even small stains and dirt cannot harm this mat. Regular washing also supports the absorbency of the polyamide fibers.
Silicone
Silicone is still a relatively new material in the owl cut world. We use it for our practical ice cube trays that make every drink an absolute eye-catcher! Our trays are dishwasher safe and therefore particularly easy to care for.
Stoneware
Our stoneware is our absolute favorite material. All our stoneware products are lovingly handcrafted in a small pottery in Portugal. Each product has its very own touch. Since they are all handmade, fired, embossed, sanded, glazed & fired again, there are differences in the print depth, in the height as well as in the straightness, which makes them even more special.
